You cannot ignore it

This verse deals with the position that if a person finds a lost object
belonging to one of his relatives or even one of his enemies,
it is his duty to return it to its owners and not to ignore it, in any situation.

It is true that the verse states that it is obligatory to return the lost objects even to one’s enemies, but it all depends on the opinion of the man who found the lost object.And it all depends on whether the personality of the finder is good and returns lost objects to people,or evil and takes what she finds from people

1 You shall not see you brother’s ox or his sheep driven away,
and hide yourself from them;
you shall surely bring them back to your brother.

2 And if your brother is not close to you,
and you know him not,
then you shall bring it home to your house,
and it shall be with you until your brother requires it,
and you shall restore it to him.

3 And so shall you do with his ass;
and so shall you do with his garment;
and so shall you do with every lost thing of your brother’s,
which he has lost,
and you have found; you may not hide yourself
